How does it work?
Don't leave home without a camera this summer or you will miss out on your chance to win one of $1800 in prizes. You can enter up to 20 of your best shots in your choice of six categories including: Summer Events & Festivals; Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park; Backyard Fun; My Pets Summer; Summer Scenery; and Outdoor Sports & Rec by Summit Canyon. Overall winners will be selected at the end of the contest in September by a combination of popular vote (counts as one judge) and two additional judges from the Post Independent.

Can I still play if the contest has already started?
Yes. Photos can be entered Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend (Friday May 27th - Mon September 5th).

Must be 13 or older to enter.


Are there prizes?

Yes. Three overall winners will receive Summit Canyon Mountaineering gift cards:
Grand Prize - $500
2nd Place - $200
3rd place - $100

We will also be awarding prizes for best photos from special events and holiday weekends throughout the summer.
